Yes, we provide outfits for the shoot. However, if Mum has a creative vision for her shoot and wants to use her own outfit, you can do so.
While preparing for the maternity photoshoot, dad often focuses on supporting their partner and forgets about their own wardrobe. However, at Arpna Photography, we believe a maternity shoot is a celebration for both parents. For a dad-to-be, we suggest wearing a light color, white or beige, or a soft pastel shirt or T-shirt with blue or black denim or trousers. Avoid big prints and checks. Avoid any contrasting color runner shoes. These outfit suggestions are to give a polished look. Lastly, coordinate your outfit with your partner's attire to achieve a unified colour palette.
At Arpna Photography, we believe a maternity session should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. On average, a maternity shoot lasts one to two hours. We prioritise your comfort and encourage breaks for hydration. You will have enough time to change your outfit and do the touch-up.
We believe in keeping the look for maternity shoots natural and timeless. We do not provide a make-up service in-house. However, we encourage an even skin tone foundation and a touch of blush to add a healthy glow and neutral tone eye make-up with light lipstick. You can have make-up and hair done by a makeup artist if you prefer that. We are happy to collaborate with a makeup artist.
It takes three weeks to edit and deliver your edited images. This may sound like a long wait, but we need time to ensure you receive a beautifully edited final image with no imperfections. All images are hand-edited.
Absolutely yes. You are welcome to bring your own dresses or cultural outfits. We recommend coordinating them with our styling advice for the best results on camera.
We recommend booking your session for at least 3–4 weeks to ensure your preferred date, time, and outfit availability.
Yes, outdoor maternity shoots can be arranged depending on weather, location permissions, and your preferred style. We'll guide you on suitable places in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. Yes, we offer a 10% discount on your package if you consent to share selected images from your session on our portfolio and social media.
I would like to keep my image private — we understand and respect client privacy. No photos are posted on our social media without the client's consent. Editing of images is taken care of by Arpna; no male photo editor is involved. We assure the privacy of your photos.
We require a 50% advance to secure your booking, with the remaining balance payable on the shoot day.
