I understand that for new parents, shopping for a newborn photoshoot is the last thing on their minds, so I provide outfits for both mom and baby so you both look your very gorgeous selves in those photos. However, you are welcome to bring your own outfit to wear.
The best time to have a newborn photoshoot is when the baby is between 5 and 20 days old. Though, due to different circumstances, I have also done shoots for babies over one month old, but to get the most out of your session, I suggest having it done within the first 20 days.

For me, it's all about maintaining the delicate balance between a photographer's creativity and following the baby's lead during the shoot. I try different themes and setups to fit the baby's comfort — some babies feel calm and cosy wrapped in snug bundles; others are best laying on their tummy posing like a star; and some are all smiles with props that fancy them. I never enforce a position or prop; instead I let the baby guide me. Like every other aspect of handling a newborn, photographing them takes love, tenderness and patience — and you will find these in abundance in my sessions.
I am Arpna, an established maternity, newborn and infant photographer in the UAE, and I have been running my photography business for over thirteen years. With more than a decade of experience working professionally with expecting moms, newborns and infants, and being a mother of two young boys myself, I am adept at handling infants and newborns — making it a comfortable, safe and joyous experience for the babies and the parents.
My sessions are never rushed or forced, and the entire photoshoot revolves around the newborn's comfort, mood and cooperation. I firmly believe that the happier and more comfortable the baby is, the more joyous the experience and the better the photoshoot.
